Copland is proud of the education it provides for its students - not just in the classroom but through diverse and exciting experiences outside School. A huge range of lunchtime and after school activities include Badminton, Tennis, Cricket, Soccer, Rugby, Swimming, Self-Defence, Basketball, Table-Tennis, Singing Group, Homework Club, Drama Group and Chess.
There are opportunities for students to take part in skiing trips abroad; residential field trips to supplement study courses; language and exchange trips; rock climbing; a ten-day visit to the South of France which includes language development and water sports; day trips to Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures, museums, galleries and theatres.
At the end of the School year a programme of activities is organised for all students to develop the social and cultural dimension of School life.
Copland has a strong tradition of fund-raising and students have collected significant amounts for various charities over the years.
