Curriculum & Courses
All aspects of students' progress is closely monitored throughout the Sixth Form. Students on two year Advanced courses are formally assessed on nine occasions during their course, while students on one year GNVQ courses are formally assessed on four occasions. Parents/carers are contacted if this close monitoring reveals that a student's progress is giving cause for concern.
Courses being studied include Accountancy, Law, Medicine, Genetics, Engineering, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Computer Science, Politics, Social Sciences, English, Drama, Earth Sciences, Economics, Tourism Management and a range of Business courses. Other students have followed alternative routes into Further Education, Modern Apprenticeships or directly into employment with training.
